I apologize, it’s been a while since the last update! Today’s the first #TeamLatrese newsletter of 2017, AND it’s my birthday!
I thank God for one more beautiful year! And I thank all of you for the gift of your support and love. I am so grateful for my loving family, friends, and for music! There is so much to be thankful for. I plan to celebrate my birthday all month…and maybe into April!
God’s favor has extend into 2017. I’ve sung with the legendary Roy Ayers, I was honored to speak at my childhood middle school, and I am just getting back from Barcelona, Spain, where I performed with my friend and mentor of close to 10 years, the legendary Gloria Gaynor!
Along with all of this, God has blessed me to release a remix of my U.K. Soul and Indie Soul Music Chart #1 song “Because of You” ft. my talented friend Noel Gourdin! My videographer, and another talented friend, even completed a remix video that folks are loving! Oh yeah – I also found time to launch my new and improved website!
This birthday, I plan to take some time to reflect and treat myself a bit. I also plan to do what I love – sing! I performed with one of my talented friends. You may recognize him! J Let me give you a hint – he’s featured on two popular Tyler Perry shows on the OWN Network, “House of Payne” and “Love Thy Neighbor”. He’s an amazing singer too!
